Class trips

All children across the Ealdham years - Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 have been enjoying a range of exciting educational and fun school trips.

Year 2 had a wonderful treat. They took part in a Rainforest Workshop where they were able to look and touch real snakes, spiders and other exotic animals.

Coral Class had lots of fun at Woodlands Farm.  They even got to milk a cow!

Aqua class were really lucky to attend the annual Sportathon event at Sutcliffe Park this year.  They enjoyed taking part in many activities including football, basketball, hockey, dancing and wheelchair racing!

Silver class visited the National Maritime Museum where they took part in a workshop about India to complete what they have been learning about during topic.

Silver class had a really fun morning at Corelli College where they took part in lots of sporting activites such as tug of war, relay races, football, tag rugby and rowing!

Year 1 had a great time at the Sea Life Centre.  They enjoyed watching all different sea life creatures including a shark!

Reception were very lucky to have the police visit them to discuss their duties within their job. The children also got to sit in a police car and activate the sirens!


Emerald Class enjoyed a session of golf at Thomas Tallis Secondary School.  They had to weave in and out of cones and putt the ball into the holes.  They had a great day and the sun was shining.                                    


Silver and Sapphire visited The National Maritime Museum where they learnt lots about The Queen's House and Horatio Nelson.  They also investigated a photograph which was taken and developed back in Canada, only to find an extra figure in the photo!!

Red and Yellow Reception had a great time at Eltham Fire Station.  They were able to climb aboard a real fire engine and try on some of the firefighters clothes!
