Swanage 2015

Monday 15th June 2015.

They all arrived safely around lunch time and the weather was beautiful. First of all they had their lunch and made their way to the beach.  In the early evening they decided to return to the beach and were very pleased as they had the whole beach to themselves!! It was 18 degrees. Everyone loves their t-shirts.

Tuesday 16th June 2015

Everyone had a fabulous day. They went to Corfe on a steam train which the children loved! They spent hours there story telling and acting out role plays. They had a lovely picnic and got the train back. They took a stroll along the pier and enjoyed rock pooling at Pevril Point. Mrs Ratcliff said it was incredible!! They found lots of creatures including a pregnant crab! Everyone is super impressed with the children’s behaviour and have said what a credit they are to Ealdham. The children were very tired but were getting ready for  chips on the beach, then showers and bed!

Wednesday 17th June 2015

Today the children enjoyed a 6 mile walk! They took the coach to Studland and had a long, pleasurable walk back. They loved the scenes and found out lots of information about Old Harry’s Rock. In the evening they enjoyed their dinner and playing football and games.

Thursday 18th June 2015

The children had another fabulous day visiting Durlston Country Park. They had a long walk along the coast, visiting a castle and completing different types of Orienteering. They enjoyed playing on the beach and having lots of fun. In the evening they had a great time and ate lots at the BBQ!

Friday 19th June 2015

Can you believe it’s the last day! The children had a lovely breakfast and visited the beach for the last time. The coach left Swanage around lunch time and the children arrived home safely at 4pm.

The school were praised for their outstanding behaviour and team work and were a credit to the school.

Thank you to all the Year 6 children, Mrs Ratcliff, Mrs Gough, Sharon and Donna.
